Our favourite helpful marketing business phrase of the last 10 years has to be ‘Bricks to Clicks’. We all promote businesses and products on social media, email newsletters, google reviews…. but we forget to promote in the real world. QR codes are the best way to redirect customers and readers to ‘where to purchase’ your book. Whether it is on posters, flyers or bookmarks – grabbing the attention of readers when they are actually in a physical bookshop, library or cafe is an opportunity that should NOT be missed. The South West Independent Bookshops have created a map for the South West to show just how many amazing Indie bookshops there are in the area. On the reverse there is a little room for advertising, and while many of these spots have already been snapped up by publishers – we want to make it a fair marketing opportunity and have a few of the smaller ads available to small indie pressess and self published authors.

Totally Locally is something special. It’s more than a shop local campaign, it’s a philosophy.
Supporting local, supporting small is at the very heart of Langport. The community comes together for art, charities, music and to show support each and every time the Town needs to be strong, to pull together and rise above.
Isn’t it better to support locally owned, locally run businesses that use locally sourced foods and materials? When you shop with local, small businesses you can be assured that they care about our Town. They employ local people and supply other local businesses, so that even more money stays within the local economy.
